DESCRIPTION:

Theory and policy related to unemployment, inflation, foreign trade, government spending, taxation, and banking.

PREREQUISITES:

Course Prerequisite: MATH 101, MATH 103 (or higher) or concurrent enrollment, MGTOP 215, STAT 205, STAT 212 or concurrent enrollment, or a minimum ALEKS score of 40%. Enrollment not allowed if credit earned for ECONS 198 with a C or higher and ECONS 101.

Online Proctoring – This course has one or more exams that require the use of WSU’s third party vendor, Examity. Each proctored exam will incur a fee of $18.00. Students should schedule exams at least two weeks before the date they wish to take the exam.

Exam 1 Online $18 (Due when proctoring session is scheduled) 1 hour 0 minutes Online - Launchpad Students can use a two-sided hand-written 5x3 inch notecard for the midterm exams students can also use any type of calculator. No book is allowed. Students should be allowed one piece of A4 scratch paper and the scratch paper MUST be ripped up at the end of the exam. If the scratch paper is not destroyed, students may face penalties.

Final Exam Online $18 (Due when proctoring session is scheduled) 2 hours 0 minutes Online - Launchpad Students can use a hand-written one-sided 8.3x11.7 inch (A4 paper size) notecard for the final exam. If they chose to use a two-sided 5x3 inch notecard for the final exam, it's fine because two-sided 5x3 inch paper is smaller than one-sided 8.3x11.7 inch paper. Students can also use any type of calculator. No book is allowed. Students should be allowed one piece of A4 scratch paper and the scratch paper MUST be ripped up at the end of the exam. If the scratch paper is not destroyed, students may face penalties. Students can use a whiteboard. The proctor MUST confirm that the board has been wiped clean upon exam completion.
